Steven Holcomb isn’t just an U.S. Olympic gold medalist; he’s also a former combat engineer and self-described computer nerd. While training for the Olympics as part of the U.S. bobsled team, he earned his CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Security+ certifications, and even worked to maintain the network in the IT division of the U.S. Olympics. Fiberlink Communications made headlines in late 2013 when it was scooped up by IBM, and the mobile device management provider keeps making noise with the help of CompTIA’s Mobility+ certification. Last month, Fiberlink unveiled a new certification for its partners called the MaaS360 Partner Certification Program. When Heng-Chuen Mok was a child, his father would bring home technology and together they would tinker. This love of technology led Mok to a bachelor’s degree in information systems and a career in IT.
