Educators, including teachers, trainers, and mentors, are strongly discouraged from providing exam dump materials—unauthorized content containing actual exam questions and answers in any form—to students as study aids or instructional material. The use and distribution of such materials undermine the value of CompTIA certifications and violate our ethical standards. It is the responsibility of educators to provide high-quality, ethical training to students, ensuring that all study materials are legitimate and authorized. To fulfill these responsibilities, CompTIA strongly recommends educators adhere to the following guidelines:
Consequences:
Reporting:
If you suspect that exam dump materials have been distributed, or if a student reports such an incident, it is your duty to report it immediately to CompTIA’s hotline. Students who suspect they have been provided with exam dump materials are also encouraged to report the incident. All reports will be treated with confidentiality and promptly investigated to protect the integrity of our certification process.
