Premier education, networking and partnering event set for July 31 – August 2 in Austin, Texas
Downers Grove, Ill. – CompTIA, the world’s leading technology association, said today registration is open and speaker proposals are being accepted for ChannelCon 2017, the information technology (IT) channel’s premier education, networking and partnering event.
ChannelCon 2017 is scheduled for July 31 through August 2 at the JW Marriott Austin in Austin, Texas.
The annual conference brings together executives and thought-leaders from across the technology industry for three days of educational sessions, panels, keynotes, and networking opportunities on the most important topics and trends impacting the industry.
“The ChannelCon 2017 theme is ‘Be the Change,’” said Kelly Ricker, executive vice president, events and education, CompTIA. “That theme applies in equal measure to our rapidly-evolving industry; to the digital transformation that’s reshaping businesses; and to our host city, one of the shining stars in the technology universe.”
Austin’s tech industry is thriving, with nearly 5,000 tech business establishments and more than 113,000 tech industry workers in the metro area, according to CompTIA’s Cyberstates 2017™ report. The tech industry accounts for nearly 21 percent of the overall Austin economy.
