Trade Regulation & Compliance Practice to Hold Q2 Committee Meetings on June 15

Texas Instruments will host the Q2 Export Controls and Customs Committee meetings on Wednesday, June 15 in Washington, DC. CompTIA members located around the U.S. can also attend via webinar.

The Export Controls Committee will receive an update from Christopher Williams, Senior Staff Engineer, Munitions Control Division, Bureau of Industry and Security, U.S. Department of Commerce.  There will also be an informative benchmarking session on Management Commitment to the Internal Control Program (ICP).  CompTIA members from Deloitte, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Intel and Rockwell Automation will share corporate practices and procedures.  The Customs Committee will get an update on the Information Technology Agreement (ITA) expansion implementation from Ashley Miller, Director, Industrial Goods Market Access, USTR.   Elva Muneton, Director, Electronics Center for Excellence & Expertise (CEE),  and Pauline Hogue, Program Manager, Los Angeles Field Office, US Customs and Border Protection will provide CompTIA members with an update on the CEE and the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system implementation.
