For many companies, security breaches are not all denial-of-service attacks or intrusions. CompTIA’s latest study, International trends in Cybersecurity, human error was cited as one of the biggest threats businesses face, with employees becoming be the weak link and backdoor into organisations’ data and systems. No matter how technologically advanced or resilient your network and security may be, it can be undone by a momentary lapse by a single employee.
One key challenge is the knowledge and habits of employees. Ensuring staff are aware, understand and know how to spot and deal with potential threats is an important step in combating such threats.
For this reason, we created CompTIA CyberSecure, which was designed to educate and fundamentally change knowledge and attitudes around security vulnerabilities.
CyberSecure is a self-paced training program focused on the implications of security behaviours of everyone in the workplace – not just the IT department. The course covers a wide range of key behaviours to reduce security risks and educate employees.
As part of membership, CompTIA members receive 50 free CyberSecure licenses per year, valued at £900, which can be used for their team or given to customers to add value to your proposition, increase awareness and shape customer behaviour.
