The annual PCR Brit List features the 50 most influential people in tech, from directors to CEOs, retail buyers to doctors and even a few celebrities. The list by PCR – a universally read UK IT publication – includes people who are inspiring innovations, evolutions and progression in the IT channel.
This year, CompTIA’s membership was represented among the movers and shakers in the IT world, first with our own Vaughan Shayler.
Shayler, CompTIA’s director of channel strategy for the UK, ensures the non-profit trade association and voice of the world’s IT industry represents and engages with the UK channel, helping to unify and boost the industry. Away from work, Shayler spends most of his time involved in junior sport, coaching local youth cricket and rugby and football clubs.
Hats off also go to Wayne Cockerill, chairman for Network Buying Group. A veteran of the IT market with nearly three decades of experience, Cockerill worked his way up to become director and partner of Aindale, a CompTIA premier member company, before taking control as owner. Following this acquisition, he became chairman of the NBG, one of the UK industry’s largest buying groups.
The complete list, which can be found here, also includes big players from several CompTIA member companies, including Intel, Dell, Samsung, Tech Data, Hewlett Packard, Apple and Microsoft.
MSPmentor 250
CompTIA premier members also appeared prominently on the sixth-annual MSPmentor 250 list, honoring the world’s top managed services provider executives, entrepreneurs and experts. The list is based on MSPmentor’s annual global readership survey plus the managed services guide’s daily coverage of the market. CompTIA premier members accounted for more than 20 percent of the list. Congratulations to those who were recognized.Type your content here...
