While you’re making your agenda for Breakaway in San Antonio next week, we know you plan to network with the leaders and innovators in the IT channel.  But beyond the learning going on in the conference sessions, this year our show floor is bigger than ever with a host of new pavilions and vendors to help you build your business.

Each day, we’ll do a quick round-up for what to check out on the show floor. For instance, within our new Managed Print Services Pavilion, you’ll find more than a dozen print and IT companies ready to help you take advantage of this robust market.  Royal Imaging (Booth #618), a wholesale distributor of consumable office products and imaging supplies, focuses on great customer service and competitively priced products.  At their booth, new customers received 20% off their first compatibles purchase.

6fusion (Booth #309) is launching its UC6 3.0 for data center operators and IT service providers. UC6 is a software platform that converts virtualized servers, network and storage into a billable utility and makes the utility computing resources accessible to external users. This new version can build, control and maintain cloud workloads running on 6fusion’s iNode Network or privately within the customer’s own data center. 6fusion federates independent third party data centers, which comprises its iNode Network. The iNode Network is used by IT service providers and independent software vendors to deploy cloud based solutions on behalf of their customers, paying only for the compute resources consumed.

To help end the password frustration for PC users, the new ii2P MyVault™ (Booth #820 in the IT Security Pavilion) uses a microprocessor chip in a smart card, smart token and even a personal portable security device (PPSD) format to store one’s credentials (i.e., user IDs and passwords) and to retrieve the appropriate credentials at log-in so the user no longer has to remember their many IDs and passwords.  ii2P’s MyVault supports user credentials on all intranet and Internet applications for MS Windows® PCs.  With ii2P MyVault, the user only needs to remember his four-digit PIN, and he can forget everything else.

To grow your business in the expanding public safety and healthcare markets, you need computers that are as durable outside as they are efficient inside. Visit GammaTech (Booth #109) to experience what a fully secured mobile computer truly feels like – touch, test and even drop.

Win Free Gear

A number of Breakaway sponsors are hosting raffles in their booths.  Stop by to hear how they can help your business and at the same time you can enter their contests:

  • GammaTech (Booth #109): Drop in your business card and one lucky winner will take home a Kingston 64GB SSD.

  • Kutenda (Booth #408): A random iPad winner wearing a Kutenda blinking pink (given away at their booth) will be chosen at the end of the conference.

 Show Specials

  • Kutenda is offering a special rate of $99 for the first 3 months (that’s $300 off the regular price of $399) of its Managed Service Marketing System.

  • ASN Depot Inc. (Booth #310) has two laptop specials: $499 for its ANJ00 thin and light custom laptop and $1099 for its all-in-one upgradable system AN-LCDPC.  Plus order the all-in-one system at the show, and they’ll upgrade you to a Quad Core CPU for free.

The Breakaway show floor opens on Tuesday at 3:15 p.m.  See you in San Antonio.
