Need a Tax Deduction?

Got a vacation house? Extra seats to a sports event? We've got a way to help you turn them into tax deductions.

The CompTIA Educational Foundation is soliciting the use of vacation homes, extra event tickets, products, services and personal items of value for its silent auction at Breakaway.  You get the tax deduction; the Foundation gets funds to help individuals in need get IT training and certification.  It’s a win-win.

You set the parameters of your gift.  For example, when you're not using your vacation home, offer it for a weekend, week or more at a time you select. Donate extra tickets you might have from your season tickets for sporting or cultural events. Attendees at the 2010 CompTIA Breakaway conference in San Antonio this August will bid on the silent auction items.
