CompTIA member Peter Cannone is chief executive officer of OnForce, a cloud-based source for on-site tech talent. He and other OnForce team members have been involved with CompTIA and the IT Services Community for a number of years, supporting and promoting many of the association’s workforce development initiatives and programs.
Cannone has extensive experience in the IT channel and the services community, an essential element when running a company that supports more than 20 technology segments, including computers, printers, networks, VoIP and point-of-sale. Prior to joining OnForce, he served as senior vice president of sales operations at PC Connection.
He has a broad perspective on overarching trends in the service sector and an extensive understanding of the technology services industry that is highly valued by his business partners and the IT channel. After receiving his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, he went on earn an M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
