How can you deliver CompTIA exams to your students on campus?  CAPP Academic members learn about new options during Breakaway.

Innovative Exams stepped up to the stage first and introduced a brand new delivery model for providing CompTIA exams. Ruben Garcia, Innovative Exams' CEO, explained how his model was unlike the traditional testing centers from VUE and Prometric. "Our model provides remote and secure testing services. Utilizing a remote proctor using digital video cameras to monitor test takers, it rids the need of having a member of staff to proctor exams."

Ruben went onto explain that the exams could be taken at any time and it was simple to get going. “Simply power up the kiosk, hook it up to your broadband Internet connection and you're good to go.” Innovative Exams currently deliver CompTIA A+, Strata IT Fundamentals and CompTIA IT for Sales. The CompTIA Healthcare IT certificate is being launched this month on its kiosks and other certifications will follow shortly after.

Pearson VUE was up next and Sandy Major, the academic channel manager, said, "VUE offers educational institutions on-site, on-demand testing for IT certification and select professional licensure examinations worldwide."

Becoming a Pearson VUE Authorized Test Centers is really easy. Sandy explained that "there are minimal set-up costs and we provide the software, updates and technical support at no charge."
